Weekly Worship Service |
Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Each Sunday morning, our community gathers to worship together. During this worship service, we incorporate a variety of music, including both contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. Our chancel choir also leads us in worship through anthems, calls to worship, and responses. We also hear from God through scripture and a sermon, as well as a children's message. Children are welcome in our worship services! Most of our children (5th grade and younger) attend worship until the Children’s Time, and then go to the Children’s Hall for Children’s Church where they can be picked up after worship. We also have a Nursery available for children Pre-K and younger. |
Sunday School Classes |
Sunday School classes meet on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
We offer a variety of classes for adults, as well as classes for children and youth. Our Sunday School classes are a wonderful time of fellowship and study. To learn more about our Sunday School classes and where they meet, click here. |
Communion Services |
We receive Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month during our worship service. As United Methodists, we practice an open table, meaning that Communion is offered to all who wish to receive it, including children. The elements are bread and grape juice. If you have questions regarding our Communion practices or schedule, please contact the church office at (252) 443-2926.

Parking and Entrances |
Parking is available at the Sunset Avenue and South Circle Drive entrances to the church. The closest parking to the sanctuary is on South Circle Drive, either on the street or in the parking lot closest to the bell tower, which is pictured in the image above. The entrance that most directly leads to the sanctuary is through the underpass that extends from the bell tower. This entrance will put you in the entryway, where greeters will be available to welcome you and lead you into the sanctuary for worship.

Is There a Dress Code? |
Whatever clothing makes you feel comfortable is what you wear to worship, whether that is a t-shirt and jeans or a suit and tie. We are so excited to have you join us for worship, and you will be welcome among us!
|
Welcome Center |
There is a podium in the narthex (entryway to the sanctuary) that serves as our Welcome Center for guests. There you will find a information about the various activities of our church, a jar of delicious peanuts made by our United Methodist Men, welcome bags for your children, and a friendly church member to guide you through everything.
