Youth Summer Mission Trip

Each summer our youth group (6th-12th grade) participates in a mission trip, in which we share the love of God outside our own community. (We also participate in local mission projects through our Workday Wednesdays.) This summer our youth and adult leaders will travel to Blue Knob, PA, for our mission trip! The dates for the trip are Sunday, June 26 - Saturday, July 2.

What We'll Do
During this trip, our goal will be to serve others and share the love of God through our actions. We will most likely help to repair homes for people in need, but we may assist with other service projects in the community. We will also worship with other youth groups and have small group discipleship time.

How to Participate
The deadline to sign up for this trip is Sunday, April 17 (Easter Sunday). To sign up, you must fill in the form below. You will then get a mission trip packet from Savanna. The next step will be to turn in your permission form, medical form, and deposit.

The overall cost of the trip is around $500 per person (including all meals, lodging, and fun activities); however, the majority of this cost is covered by our fundraisers throughout the year. The only cost to you is a $50 deposit. (If this is a hardship for your family, please don't let that stop you from coming! We have scholarships available for those who need them. Just let Savanna know.)

Requirements to Participate 

• Sign up by the deadline (April 17 - Easter)
• Turn in your forms and deposit by Sunday, May 29
• Regularly attend and participate in a positive way in weekly youth group activities
• Help with the Yard Sale on May 7, as well as any other fundraisers - this is how we pay for the trip!
