Stephen Ministry Continues to Grow and Serve

You've heard it a million times.  Others may have said to you or you may have said it to yourself.  But things just aren't that simple.  Life can be complicated. Life can hurt.  Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who will help you "get on with your life."   

Stephen Ministry is a confidential one-on-one Christian care-giving ministry that is headquartered in St. Louis, MO and has spread across the nation, into Canada and beyond.  The Ministry is over 50-years-old and pairs a trained Stephen Minister with a care receiver who needs emotional support during a difficult time.  The Ministers have over 50 hours of training and are experienced in showing the love of Christ to folks going through many different kinds of loss and life situations.  Stephen Ministers step in when the rest of the world has gone home and journey with the care receiver toward wellness through weekly interaction.  Pastors in Stephen Ministry congregations welcome and support the program as a pastoral care branch for their parishioners.
